This Privacy Notice describes the process of collecting and using data if you are accessing my services or contact me via my website. On the collection, use and disclosure of your information that I collect when you use my website (emmanagleplaytherapy.com), access or request my services. By accessing or using the Service, you are consenting to the collection, use and disclosure of your information in accordance with this Privacy Notice. If you access our website or request my therapeutic services, I will collect, process and store some or all the following information depending on what Service you are accessing or applying for:

  • Referral reason

How I get your personal information and why I collect it:

Most of the personal information I process is provided to me directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • Your interaction with my website

  • When you complete a contact form

  • Make an inquiry or referral for my services.

How I use your information:

I use the information that you have given to process your request and undertake the work requested.

I may share the above information if I have serious concerns about the safety of a child with the local safeguarding team.

How I share your information:

I will not transfer your personal information to any third party without seeking your consent, except in limited circumstances as described below:

I require such third parties to use the personal information I transfer to them only for the purpose for which it was transferred and not to retain it for longer than is required for fulfilling the said purpose.

I may also disclose your personal information for the following:

  • To comply with applicable law, regulation, court order, safeguarding or other legal process.

  • To enforce your agreements with myself, including this Privacy Notice.

  • To respond to claims that your use of the Service violates any third-party rights.

Retention of your information:

I will retain your personal information for 180 days or for as long as I need it to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected as detailed in this Privacy Notice. I may need to retain certain information for longer periods such as record-keeping / reporting in accordance with applicable law or for other legitimate reasons like enforcement of legal rights, membership bodies regulations etc. In the case of Supervisees this is 6 years, and children’s clinical information must be retained until they are 25, in line with data law. Residual anonymous information and aggregate information, neither of which identifies you or the referred child/young person (directly or indirectly), may be stored

Your Rights:

Depending on the law that applies, you may have a right to access and rectify or erase your personal data or receive a copy of your personal data, restrict or object to the active processing of your data, ask us to share (port) your personal information to another entity, withdraw any consent you provided to us to process your data, a right to lodge a complaint with a statutory authority/membership body and such other rights as may be relevant under applicable laws. You may opt-out of direct marketing communications or the profiling I carry out for marketing purposes by writing to me at emmanagleplaytherapy@gmail.com

Do note that if you do not allow me to collect or process the required personal information or withdraw the consent to process the same for the required purposes, you may not be able to access or use the services for which your information was sought.
